First impression. Is it real? Is it important?

First impression is a lie. It is real but it is a lie. When you meet someone, you create in your head a picture, or you get a feeling about that person based on a first impression. Every time you see that person, you project that feeling or that picture on them. You expect them to behave the way you percieve them. You expect them to behave by experience that you had with a first impression. Later, when you meet that person better, you understand that first impression is a lie, illusion. You see that this person is not what you have expected them to be. Well, but, is it first impression important? And yes, it is. It is because it sets a dynamic for future. It sets dynamic on which you can start developing a relationship with that person. But you need to be aware that first impression is a lie and that it takes a time to meet a person. It takes time to know them. This is where most people fail because, of the good first impression, they are blind to the flaws of others, and when they start noticing those flaws, they get angry because they realize that this person is not what they expect them to be. It is not that person is pretending, it is just that you had a wrong expectations based on a first impression. And this is the difference between mature and immature people. Immature people rely on a first impression, whille mature person knows that it takes time to see other person realistically and understands that everybody has flaws and everybody is different, and it is ready to accept the good and bad of other person.
